This tool changes the sharpness of an image. You can sharpen the entire image at once or apply the effect to a specific area. If you prefer to sharpen the entire image, then simply leave the width, height, and position parameters empty, and the tool will automatically apply the sharpening algorithm to the entire image. If you need to sharpen a specific area of the image, you can specify the coordinates and dimensions of the sharpening rectangle. For example, the coordinates y=100 and x=50 would mean that the sharpening area will start at 100 pixels from the top of the image and 50 pixels from the left side of the image. The sizes width=300 and height=200px would indicate that the sharpening area covers a rectangle of 300x200 pixels. You can also adjust the sharpening area using an interactive layer that's visible over the image by using the mouse. The tool also allows you to flexibly adjust the intensity sharpness by specifying it as a percentage value, such as 50%, 100%, or even 200%. Additionally, the program allows you to download the sharpened image in one of three formats: PNG, JPEG, or WebP. Image-abulous!

This example sharpens half (only the left side) of the image by 200%. The effect is not applied to the other (right) side. As a result, you can see a significant contrast between the right and left halves of the image. The area with increased sharpness exhibits greater detail, clarity, and overall crispness. This example enhances the sharpness of the entire image of snowy mountains by 150%. The area of sharpness enhancement covers the entire image as the coordinates and dimensions parameters are left empty. (Source: Pexels.)
In this example, we enhance the sharpness and detail of a honeybee. In the original image, it's hard to see the tiny pollen particles on the bee's feathers, legs, and face but once it's sharpened, they become very visible and let us learn more about the way it collects them for honey production.
