This tool reduces the number of colors used in an image. In the options, you can specify the desired number of colors to be present in the processed image. Choosing a lower number will result in a simplified and artistic look, while higher numbers will preserve more complex details and color gradients. The minimum number of colors an image can have is 2, producing two-color or binary images. The "Convert Image to Grayscale" option allows you to quickly and easily transform your color images into classic grayscale image. In this mode, the program converts the image to gray tones before reducing the colors, allowing for a more distinct and detailed image with a minimal number of colors. The "Extension" option allows you to select the format for saving the reduced color images, such as PNG, JPEG, or WebP. Image-abulous!

This example turns an image with thousands of colors into a simplified image with just five colors. It scans all the color pixels of the image and extracts the five dominant shades that are most popular in specific areas. (Source: Pexels.)
In this example, we limit the number of colors in the image palette to 11 shades. After reducing the colors in the image, its gradient regions transformed into dappled areas, and the flower and transparent vase acquired a pixel-art-like effect. (Source: Pexels.)
This example, before reducing the number of colors in the image, first converts the image to grayscale tones. When the image is monochromatic, the algorithm can more accurately identify the primary shades by detecting contrasting shadows and highlighting pixels. As a result, the grayscale image, even with a small number of colors, can be more detailed and intricate. (Source: Pexels.)
