This tool converts GIF images into BMP images. Since GIF is an animated image format (consisting of a sequence of images called frames that are displayed one after another) and BMP is a format that encapsulates just a single frame or image, then when you convert an animated GIF to a BMP, you can only obtain a single frame of your choice. Once you upload a GIF, you can also play it frame by frame via the built-in GIF player (which you can enable or disable via the "Play" checkbox in the options). You can also specify the desired playback speed (in milliseconds). Once you find the desired frame, simply specify its number in the "Frame" option, and it will instantly get extracted and converted into a static BMP image as the output. If your GIF animation has many frames, then it can also be viewed in reverse order to quickly obtain the desired frame number from the end of the animation. Image-abulous!

This example loads a GIF animation of a flying bird in the input and extracts the fourth (last) frame as a BMP image. When the last frame is extracted, as it's still in GIF format, to obtain a BMP format, it's converted to a BMP image. The result is a static image of a single frame as uncompressed raw BMP.
