This tool increases the space around an image. It expands the canvas around the image, providing enough space for creative customization. The additional space can serve to draw attention to the image, adjust its width and height, decorate it, or further add text using an Add Text to an Image program. You can control the amount of space in the options by specifying its width in pixels. Additionally, you can assign any color to the space, even transparent or semi-transparent. In this example, we use the tool to increase the space around a portrait of a girl. We add 60 pixels to each side and fill the space with white. With the additional space, we can be sure that when the image is printed, the decorative frame will not cover part of the portrait.
