This tool creates two-color images from any uploaded images or photographs. It gathers a collection of all the colors used in the original image, selects two primary colors from it, and redraws the image using only these two colors. There is an automatic color generation mode that requires no effort to create a two-color image and immediately displays the bi-color image. However, you can also manually control the colors and conversion methods to create a creative duotone effect. Specifically, you can switch to the custom color generation mode and specify your own two colors to use in the image. To improve the accuracy of shadows and gradients, you can utilize the "Apply a Dither Effect" option. In this mode, the program uses dot-dithering, resulting in sharper and more realistic transitions. There are several dithering methods to choose from, and you can switch between them in the options and observe the effect in the output preview. Additionally, you can select the binary image extension in the options and download the image in your desired format. Image-abulous!

In this example, we create a basic two-color image in automatic mode without using the dithering effect. In this case, the program automatically identifies the two main shades of the image and redraws it using these two colors with the RGB quantization algorithm. (Source: Pexels.)
In this example, we manually configure the colors of the duotone image, setting them to white and black. Additionally, we apply the dithering effect using the Burkes method, resulting in a highly defined and detailed two-color image of a tabby kitten. (Source: Pexels.)
In this example, we create a two-color image of a delicious cheesecake using custom colors. We activate the Atkinson dithering method and use PeachPuff color for the background and FireBrick color for displaying the dotted details. (Source: Pexels.)
