WebP Rotator

World's Simplest WebP Tool

This free online tool lets you rotate a WebP image. Just load your WebP image in the input editor, and you'll instantly get a rotated WebP in the output editor. You can choose between two rotation methods – rotate by a specific angle or radians. A positive rotation angle will rotate the WebP counterclockwise, while a negative angle will rotate it clockwise. What Is a WebP Rotator?

With this online tool, you can interactively rotate WebP images clockwise or counterclockwise by any angle. The most popular use case of this tool is correcting the orientation of WebPs that were taken or scanned at a wrong angle. For example, you can rotate an upside-down WebP to be in the right orientation or fix a signature that's not level. You can rotate a WebP in the input editor immediately after uploading it. To do this, you can drag the WebP in any direction by one of its corners. For more precise rotation, you can use the settings to specify the exact rotation angle in degrees or radians. For example, 90 degrees (which is equal to 1.57 radians) will rotate the WebP image to its left edge counterclockwise, and 180 degrees (which is equal to 3.14 radians) will rotate the WebP image upside down. Positive rotation angles rotate WebPs counterclockwise, and negative angles rotate WebPs clockwise. Webp-abulous!

WebP Rotator Examples

Click to try!

Rotate a WebP by 90 Degrees

In this example, we rotate a WebP image 90 degrees counterclockwise. The WebP image is now flipped on its left side, and the dandelions are flying from the left side to the right. It almost looks like we have also rotated the gravity field. (Source: Pexels.)

Rotate a WebP of Playful Kittens

In this example, we're preparing a WebP photo of funny kittens for a photo collage we'll be creating. We want to stack multiple photos of kittens together so that parts of various images overlap and create a wall of photos. To do it, we simply load the WebP in the input editor and use the mouse to rotate the photo clockwise, directing the kittens' gaze to the lower right corner. (Source: Pexels.)

Fix Orientation of a WebP at the Wrong Angle

In this example, we upload a WebP photo with a transparent background that was taken at the wrong angle. To make the sides of the cutting board parallel to the sides of the WebP, we rotate the image by -0.27 radians clockwise, creating a perfect horizontal alignment. (Source: Pexels.)
