This free online tool lets you find the WebP file size. Just load your WebP image in the input editor, and you'll instantly get its file size in bytes and kilobytes in the output editor. Additionally, this tool will print more detailed information about WebP dimensions, total pixels, and compression efficiency. Created by team Browserling.

With this online tool, you can check the size of your WebP images. The program allows you to upload any WebP file and it displays detailed information about the WebP's file size. It prints the file size in bytes and kilobytes (this lets you know how much space the file occupies on the disk), it shows the file format (this lets you verify that the file you uploaded really is a WebP and if it is, it will print "webp"), and it shows the width and height of the WebP in pixels (this lets you know the dimensions and orientation). Additionally, it prints the total number of pixels in the WebP and calculates the average number of pixels per byte (this allows you to assess the efficiency of the WebP compression). Webp-abulous!

This example checks the file size of a WebP image of a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. The tool reveals that the WebP size is 12,324 bytes (12.04 kb). Additionally, the tool confirms that the file format is "webp", the width is 640 pixels, the height is 427 pixels, and there's a total of 273,280 pixels in the WebP (640×427). It also prints the average number of pixels per byte is 22.17, indicating a highly effective compression ratio. (Source: Pexels.)
In this example, we upload a large uncompressed WebP photo to analyze its size. We find that the WebP has a size of 237.21 kb (242,900 bytes) and dimensions of 640×960 pixels. Further, we find that it has a relatively low pixels-per-byte value of 2.53, suggesting that it's not very well compressed. (Source: Pexels.)
In this example, we calculate the WebP size of an ice cream. In the output editor, we see that it occupies only 4.84 kb, making it ideal for an icon or small decorative element on a web page. The WebP has a width and height of 160 by 200 pixels, and the high pixels-per-byte value (6.46) indicates a good compression ratio. (Source: Pexels.)
