This free online tool lets you fill a transparent WebP image. Just load your WebP image with transparency in the input editor, and you'll instantly get an opaque WebP image with filled regions in the output editor. In the tool settings, you can specify the color name or hex code to use for filling the WebP or pick it from the attached color palette. Created by team Browserling.

With this online tool, you can fill the transparent areas in WebP images. The program finds all transparent pixels in the given WebP and replaces them with a color of your choice. If your WebP image contains semi-transparent or translucent pixels, then the program first fills the canvas underneath the WebP with the specified color and then overlays the semi-transparent WebP on top of the canvas. This way, the canvas background fill will show through the semi-transparent WebP pixels. You can use the "Fill Color" option to select the solid color to use for filling the transparent areas. The color can be specified by name (such as "yellow"), hex code (such as "#a1b2c3"), or RGB code (such as "rgb(10, 20, 150)"). Additionally, you can choose the color from the interactive color picker next to the "Fill Color" option. What's more, you can also make the WebP background semi-transparent via the RGBA color code (such as "rgba(10, 20, 150, 0.5)"). When using the RGBA color code, the WebP won't be fully opaque and the transparent areas will be filled with a see-through color. Webp-abulous!

In this example, we use our tool to transform a transparent WebP sticker of a bird into a WebP with a solid background. To do it, we enter the color name "LightSteelBlue" in the options, and it's then used to fill all transparent pixels around the bluebird. The output WebP is no longer transparent. (Source: Pexels.)
In this example, we load a transparent Starbucks logo in WebP format and apply a solid color fill to it. As the brand's signature colors are green and white, we use the white color for the fill, which immediately makes the logo recognizable. (Source: Wikipedia.)
In this example, we add a translucent/semi-transparent fill to a WebP image of a flower bouquet. First, we select a suitable shade of misty rose color from the palette, and then we adjust the alpha channel slider to a value of 0.6. As a result, we get a WebP image with a light pink background that is 40% transparent or and 60% opaque. (Source: Pexels.)
