Base64 uses 64 different ASCII characters to represent binary data and is used for sending binary data (such as images, files, or music) over plain-text protocols (such as email). As base64 text can get megabytes and megabytes in length, to improve its readability, you can split it into pieces of a certain length (in the options above). If this option is enabled, then every base64 fragment will be put on a new line.
