With this browser-based application, you can sort a list of time intervals. You can choose the sorting order in the options and rearrange the given intervals from the earliest interval to the latest interval (or vice versa), from the shortest interval to the longest interval (or vice versa), or just change the positions of intervals randomly. You can also display the duration of each interval on the screen and get rid of duplicate time intervals. Additionally, you can adjust the time format in the sorted output list and drop the seconds component if it's zero (i.e. ":00") from all time values. Created by computer nerds from team Browserling.

This is a quick online utility for sorting multiple time intervals. A time interval is defined by a starting time and an ending time. For example, "6:30:00 - 8:45:00" is a time interval that starts at 6:30am, ends at 8:45am, and has a length of 2 hours and 15 minutes. When you load multiple such time intervals in this application, it will arrange them so that they suit your criteria. In particular, you can arrange time intervals from the earliest to the latest. In this case, the interval with the start timer being closest to "00:00:00" will be placed higher in the list. Next, you can display the times from the latest to the earliest. In this case, the interval with the start timer closest to "24:00:00" will be placed higher in the list. You can also sort intervals by their length. In this sorting mode, you can rearrange the intervals from the shortest interval to the longest interval or vice versa. The last sorting mode allows you to randomize the interval positions in the list and display them in mixed order. The list of time intervals can contain any number of values and they must be entered in a valid clock time or timer format. The valid formats are: "hh:mm:ss - hh:mm:ss", "hh:mm - hh:mm", and individual time points "hh:mm:ss", or "hh:mm". The clock times can be in either 12-hour or 24-hour formats, such as "4:10 am - 1:45 pm" or "12:00:00 - 16:00:00". When the intervals are sorted, you can print each interval's duration/length in parentheses. Additionally, you can filter intervals and remove duplicate ones. The output intervals can also be re-formatted and you can choose the format for the sorted time intervals. In case many of the intervals have zero seconds ("00" seconds, such as "06:30:00" or "14:22:00"), you can optionally remove these zero seconds from the intervals (in this case "06:30:00" will be printed as "06:30" and "14:22:00" will be printed as "14:22"). Timeabulous!

This example sorts a list of time intervals in order from the earliest to latest. It rearranges the timers so that the first timer in the list is one just after midnight, then come the morning timers, then the noon timers, then the afternoon timers, and finally the evening timers.
In this example, we sort time intervals by their length. Their length is calculated by subtracting the start time from the end time. We rearrange the intervals from the shortest to longest and also print the duration of each interval on the screen. This list also contains single-point intervals consisting of only one timer value. The duration of such intervals is defined to be zero. We also enable the "Print Unique Intervals" option, thereby removing all duplicate intervals, and output a sorted list in an unpadded time format "H:M:S".
In this example, we load an already sorted list of time intervals in 12-hour format as the input and ask our program to produce a new list where all intervals are now in random order. To do it, we switch to the random sort mode in the options. We keep the 12-hour format by switching to the format "H:M:S AM/PM" and additionally, we discard the zero seconds components from all clock times.
You can pass input to this tool via ?input query argument and it will automatically compute output. Here's how to type it in your browser's address bar. Click to try!

We're Browserling — a friendly and fun cross-browser testing company powered by alien technology. At Browserling our mission is to make people's lives easier, so we created this collection of time and date tools. All our tools share the same user interface, so as soon as you learn how to use one of the tools, you'll be a master of all tools. Behind the scenes, our time and date tools are actually powered by our web developer tools that we created over the last couple of years. Check them out!
