With this browser-based application, you can get a detailed analysis of the given calendar date. The program displays the basic information that includes the day, month, year, century, day of the week, week number and day number, as well as advanced information, such as how many seconds have passed since the beginning of the year to this date and how much time is left until the end of the year. Additionally, you can find the zodiac sign for this date, calculate its UNIX timestamp, convert it to Julian date, check its leap year status, and spell it as English text. This is a quick online utility for analyzing calendar dates. It parses any date in YYYY-MM-DD or YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ss format and prints all possible date properties to the output area. The date you'll be analyzing can be specified in the options. The YYYY-MM-DD format is a simple calendar date format that consists of the year, month, and day (such as "2022-06-24") and the YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ss format is an extended date format that also includes the clock time (for example "2022-06-24 12:10:00"). Once the date is entered in the options, the program will immediately break it down into components and perform a bunch of calculations on it. For the example date "2022-06-24 12:10:00", the output will include "day: 24, month: July (6), year: 2022, century: 21st, day of week: Friday, week of year: 25, day of year: 175". This is the basic information that will always be displayed. By activating the extra checkboxes in the options you can get a lot more information about the date. If you enable the "Time Since Start of the Year" option, the program will show statistics about how much time (months, days, hours, minutes, and seconds) has passed since the beginning of the given year. For our example "2022-06-24 12:10:00", we'll find that the value: "5 months, 24 days, 12 hours, 10 minutes" and broken into smaller components, it will print: "as seconds: 15077400, as minutes: 251290, as hours: 4188.17, as days: 174.51, as weeks: 24.93, as months: 5.76, as years: 0.48, as year percentage: 48%". By activating the "Time Until End of the Year" option, you will get similar data, but the time will be measured until the end of the given year. You can also find out other useful information by enabling the "Additional Date Info" option. For the example date "2022-06-24 12:10:00", you'll find: "zodiac sign: Cancer ♋︎ (The Crab)", "leap year status: 2022 is a common year", "UNIX timestamp: 1656072600", "Julian date: 2022-06-11 12:10:00", "Julian day: 2459755.01". And the last checkbox is responsible for printing the spelled date (and time) in English: "June twenty-fourth, twenty twenty-two, twelve ten". Timeabulous!

In this example, we're analyzing our best friend's date of birth. We enter the date 2002-03-12 in the options and immediately get a lot of useful information about his birthday in the output. In particular, we see that our friend was born on a Tuesday, which was the 71st day of the year and the 11th week of the year. The year 2002 was a common year and his zodiac sign is Pisces. If we were still using the Julian calendar, then his birthday would be on 2022-02-27. Additionally, as we are astronomy fans, we find that the Julian day is 2452345.5.
In this example, we calculate info about Independence Day of 2022. We enter the Fourth of July date (2022-07-04) in the options and display the general date info and extra info that includes the time passed since the start of the year and the time left until the end of the year. This federal holiday falls on the 185th day of the year (and there are 180 days left until the end of the year) and expressed in percentage, 51% of the year has passed to this date (and 49% of the year is remaining).
In this example, we find statistics for a time moment from the previous century. This time moment has both a date part (1995-10-25) and a clock part (16:30:55). Once our algorithm runs, it shows that this moment falls on a Wednesday, 25th of October, 1995 (20th century), its Unix timestamp is 814638655, and the Julian day is 2450016.19. It also prints the corresponding Julian date, astrological sign, and spells the date and time as English words.
You can pass options to this tool using their codes as query arguments and it will automatically compute output. To get the code of an option, just hover over its icon. Here's how to type it in your browser's address bar. Click to try!

We're Browserling — a friendly and fun cross-browser testing company powered by alien technology. At Browserling our mission is to make people's lives easier, so we created this collection of time and date tools. All our tools share the same user interface, so as soon as you learn how to use one of the tools, you'll be a master of all tools. Behind the scenes, our time and date tools are actually powered by our web developer tools that we created over the last couple of years. Check them out!
