With this browser-based application, you can find palindromic/symmetric calendar dates which show the same date when they are read from the left or right direction (for example, 2080-08-02 or 12-11-21). In the options, you can specify the number of palindromes you want to generate and set the date range where to look for them. You can switch between three padding modes (padded dates, non-padded dates, and mix-padded dates) and choose multiple date formats that include dash-separated and slash-separated dates, two-digit and four-digit years, and full dates that include days (YYYY-MM-DD format) or dates without days (YYYY-MM format). This is a quick online utility for generating palindromic calendar dates. A calendar date is called palindromic or symmetrical if its digits from left to right are equal to the digits from right to left. For example, the date 2022/02 is palindromic, as well as dates 20/02, 21/12, 22-1-22, 2024-2-02, and 2030-03-02. People love such dates as they look more beautiful than regular dates and these dates are often used to designate important life events, such as a wedding or christening. Our program can find any number of symmetrical dates from the given date interval. For example, you can specify the start of the search interval to be "2015-01-01" and the end of the interval to be "2025-01-01", and you'll get two symmetrical dates in the format YYYY-MM-DD: "2020-02-02" and "2021-12-02". Depending on the palindromic date format that you select in the options, the program can find more symmetrical dates in the given range. If we look at the same range from "2015-01-01" to "2025-01-01" and if you have chosen an abbreviated calendar format YY-MM-DD where the year is represented as two digits, you'll get additional symmetrical dates such as "20-11-02", "21-11-12", and "22-11-22". You can also omit the day component from the dates and generate them in the YYYY-MM format. In this case, you'll get "2022-02". Additionally, an even shorter format YY-MM will produce dates "20-02" and "21-12". In the list of date formats, you can also select if a hyphen is used between date components (such as YYYY-MM-DD) or a slash (such as YYYY/MM/DD). There are also three radio options that let you choose the date padding mode. The dates where months and days begin with a zero, such as "20-02" and "2020-02-02" are called padded dates and can be generated via the "padded date" mode. If you switch to the "non-padded date" mode, you'll get palindromes like "2018-10-2", "22-1-22", "2020-2", or "24-2". Finally, in the "mixed date" padding mode, you'll get a list of palindromes that include fully padded dates, non-padded dates, and also dates that are neither padded, nor non-padded, such as "2016-1-02" or "20-9-02". Timeabulous!

In this example, we create a list of symmetric dates with all components (year-month-day) and with padding enabled, which means the components are full width (either four digits in length for the years or two digits in length for months and days). The center of symmetry of such dates is the first dash. If we place a mirror there, then relative to it, the digits to the left and right are the same. We generate 12 such dates in the twenty-first century and display them in a vertical column.
In this example, we turn on the non-padded date mode and select a shortened version of the date format, which uses only the last two digits in the year part (if the year is "2031", then it writes "31"). The center of symmetry in such dates may be in different places – the date "31-2-13" is mirror-symmetric with respect to the single month digit (the digit "2") and in the date "31-11-13", the center of symmetry is located between the two ones in the month part "11". We use the whole year 2031 as the search interval and create ten symmetric dates in it.
In this example, we drop the day component and find palindromic dates in the "YYYY/MM" format. We specify the range of years to be from 2020 to 2060 and extract 8 palindromic dates from it. We use the mixed padding date mode, which allows the tool to generate dates with some components being padded and some unpadded.
