This browser-based utility splits Unicode text into characters. Anything that you paste or enter in the text area on the left automatically gets split into symbols on the right. It supports the most popular Unicode encodings (such as UTF-8, UTF-16, UTF-32, UCS-2, and UCS-4) and it works with emoji characters. You can also add a counter before individual characters and adjust the separator between them. Created by encoding gurus from team Browserling.

This utility splits Unicode data into characters. It can extract all simple letters (for example, "a" or "ä"), numbers (for example, "2", "8", or "Ⅷ"), math symbols (for example, "∞" or "∬"), constants (for example "ℏ" or "π"), musical notation symbols (for example, "𝄞" or "♫"), hieroglyphs (for example, "𓃞" or "𓅇"), logograms (for example, "愛" or "馬"), emojis (for example, "👍" or "🍓"), and many other characters (for example, "✿" or "♻"). You can improve the output format via three categories of options. In the first category, you can add numbering to characters and configure its format. The second category allows you to manage spaces, tabs, and newlines. And in the third category, you can set any delimiter between the extracted characters.

This example splits a four-stage food chain into individual characters. It extracts all emojis and arrows but skips all spaces because the "Delete All Whitespaces" option is activated here.
In this example, we write a simple English phrase "hello world" in the braille writing system and extract all characters from it (called cells). We separate the braille cells with commas and add the numbering with parentheses before them. As you can see, there are 11 Unicode braille characters in this message.
In this example, we split a list of seven colorful hearts into characters. We add our own numbering with colon symbols for characters and print all spaces and newlines as "⎵ " and "↵ " for better readability.
