This browser-based utility left-pads Unicode data. Anything that you paste or enter in the text area as the input automatically gets left-padded as the output. It supports all Unicode symbols and it works with emoji characters. You can use any character as the fill symbol and specify the required length of the padded Unicode text. This utility pads Unicode text on the left side. You can use any character (or multiple characters) to perform the filling, including all Unicode symbols, hieroglyphs, emojis, and even Zalgo text. When you specify the desired length of the Unicode data, then the tool automatically calculates the required number of pad characters and adds them in front of the text. If you work with multiple lines, you can use the "Individual Line Left-pad" mode to equalize their lengths. The left-pad operation is especially useful when the individual line mode is active and you have an input where each line has a different length, and you need the ends of all lines to meet at a sharp right border.

In this example, we left-pad a simple phrase with beautiful Unicode characters. We use an asterisk as the fill symbol and set the total text length to 20 characters. As the phrase length is 12 characters, it adds 8 padding characters to make it 20.
This example processes multiple lines at the same time. To do it, we have activated the individual line mode that equalizes the lengths of all lines. We have specified the text length to be 19 characters and set the "-" symbol to be used as the padding symbol on the left side. In the output, the ends of holiday emoji text descriptions nicely line up on the right side.
Oh no! This example was visited by Zalgo. It messed things up and created total chaos while left padding the Unicode data to 30 characters. Just take a look at this madness!
