This is an online browser-based utility for sorting numbers. It can sort numbers in two ways, either in ascending order (from the smallest number to largest) or descending order (from the largest number to smallest) order. In the options above, you can specify the character(s) that separates the numbers in the input, and the character(s) that separates them in the output sorted list. As a bonus, we added an option to remove all duplicate numbers from the sorted list. That's numberwang!

In this example, the left column contains the input data that contains positive and negative integers in arbitrary order. The right column contains the sorted result – the same numbers but sorted in increasing order, from the smallest to largest values.
This example sorts 15 rational numbers in decreasing order. Input numbers are specified in a comma-separated list format, so we use the comma symbol in the input separator option. For the sorted list, we put the ">" symbol as the output separator to visualize the descending order of sorted numbers.
In this example, we enter 100 random numbers as the input list. There are many duplicates among these numbers and we really want only unique numbers in the sorted list, so we've enabled the skip-duplicates option. After sorting numbers in ascending order, this option removes all duplicates and we get a unique, sorted sequence as output.
You can pass input to this tool via ?input query argument and it will automatically compute output. Here's how to type it in your browser's address bar. Click to try!
